Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

To become a member or supporter of SSSART

Provide support to a person attending an event

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting IT@ssart.org.uk
(b) We have a legal obligation.
How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored.
We keep members’ contact details only for the time they are a member of SSSART. When their membership ceases, the electronic contact information is deleted from our computer systems.
We keep supporters’ contact details for 2 years after last engagement . The electronic contact information is then deleted from our computer systems.
Your data protection rights
Under data protection law, your rights include:
