The team were called to assist North Wales Police in the search for a vulnerable missing person.

Initial information indicated that the man had been in the area of the Arenig Fawr bothie, so a small party of team members was deployed to transport Police officers in the team’s Land Rover to the bothie and assist with a search of the immediate area. With evidence indicating that the man had left the location, the search party returned to base and a second small party of team members was later deployed in the team’s mobile 2, to search another bothie in the Dolgellau area. As Police gathered further information it became apparent that the man was likely to have left the area, and at 21:14 SSSART was stood down as Police continued with their enquiries. Happily, the individual was later located safe and well.
